Virginia Davis Watts, 90, formerly of Clarksville, died Tuesday September 13, 2011 in McKinney, TX. She was born March 22, 1921 in Corbandale, TN daughter of the late James Davis and Edna Ussery Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Denzil R. Watts: brother, J.G. Davis and sister, Sarah Fine.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Skip Armistead officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until the hour of the service. Burial will be in Palmyra United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Virginia retired from the Clarksville Montgomery County School System and she was a member of Hilldale United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph M. Watts (Laura), Greenville, AL and Jimmy Watts (Linda), Plano, TX; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
