Obituary

Methuen, Ma. – John A. Findeisen 53 born on November 15, 1957 a lifelong resident of Methuen died September 11, 2011 at the Massachusetts General Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was the son of the late Wilfred A. and Helen (Bobek) Findeisen.
John spent his entire working career 38 years with the Market Basket Corporation as a manager.
He was a graduate of Tenney High School and had many special interests in life. John had a passion for swimming and boating on Lake Winnipesaukee. A great New England Patriots fan he loved woodworking and provided a loving home for his many adopted dogs. He enjoyed working in his home and yard and his family home on Lake Winnepesaukee.
Survivors include his loving wife of 15 years: Mary Jane (Hudson) Findeisen, his sisters Jane Findeisen of Methuen, Martha and husband Robert Keigan of Braintree, and Mary Findeisen and Paul O’Brien of Methuen, and his 2 dogs Blue and Stanley.
The family would like to thank the many MGH healthcare workers who cared for John during his illness. The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude for his Market Basket family for their support and the people who organized blood drives on his behalf.
A Celebration of life service will take place on Friday morning at 11 o’ clock from the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, Ma. Burial will follow at the
Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
Friends will be warmly received on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the M.S.P.C.A. 400 Broadway Methuen, Ma 01844.
