Charles Thomas Wiggins, 52, of Tifton died Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Jesse Hathaway will officiate with burial to follow at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011, at Knowles Chapel Cemetery in Sparta. Stephen Young, Michael Wiggins, Dennis Wiggins, Stephen Bowen, Taco “Luis” Martinez and Carry Wiggins will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 15, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Wiggins was born on August 30, 1959, in Claxton and was the son of Rev. Joe D. Wiggins and Emmalou Powell Wiggins, both of Tifton. He was disabled and a member of Lighthouse Church of God in Sylvester.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wiggins is survived by his wife, Ann Martin Wiggins of Tifton; eight brothers and seven sisters-in-law, Ronnie Joe and Martha Wiggins of Ellabelle, Wayne and Jean Wiggins of Garfield, Dennie and Hazle Wiggins of Rincon, Gary and Helen Wiggins of Tifton, Timmy and Linda Wiggins of Tifton, Tony and Amber Wiggins of Milledgeville, David and Wanda Wiggins of Tifton and Jerry Wiggins of Tifton; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous grand nieces and nephews.
