Obituary

LOWELL—Cecelia C. (Mullin) Mullin, 97 years old, died early Sunday morning, February 22nd, at D’Youville Senior Care. She was the wife of the late William E. Mullin.

She was born in Lowell, on February 8, 1907, a daughter of the late Thomas and Bridget (Mulroy) Mullin and was a graduate of the Immaculate Conception Grammar School, Immaculate Conception High School and Woods Business College.

Mrs. Mullin had been employed as a Manager by the Prince Card Shop, Beaconway Fabric Company and the Talbot Mills. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church and held membership in the Catholic Daughters of America, the Poor Clare Guild, the Senior Citizens of Lowell and AARP.

Surviving her are two sons: William K. Mullin, of Salem, NH; and Robert E. Mullin, of Tyngsboro; five grandchildren: Kimberly Ann Mullin-Peterson, William E. Mullin, Wayne P. Mullin, Michael R. Mullin and Colleen Mullin Mattot; seven great-grandchildren: Michael, Katie Ann, Matthew and Christopher Mullin and Dalton, Garrett and Ivanka Mattot; also many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Thomas F. Mullin, James Mullin, Mary Callahan, Robert Mullin, Anna Quinn, Agnes Cote, George Mullin, Lawrence Mullin, Sr., and Margaret V. Gordon. She was also the wife of the late Joseph Waiswilos.

Friends may call on Tuesday, February 24th, from 6 to 8 PM at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Her Funeral Mass to be offered Wednesday morning, February 25th, at 10:30 AM at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, Lowell. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
