William Torrence "Terry" Edwards, Jr., age 73 of Clarksville, TN, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center.
He was born April 9, 1938 in Virginia Beach, VA, son of the late William T. Edwards, Sr. and Nellie Ragan Edwards.
Mr. Edwards was a retired US Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. He was also retired from the US Government as a Construction Inspector.
He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and played in the church band. He loved music, Nascar racing and was an avid golfer.
Services will be held Thursday, with full military honors at 1 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev. Kim Smith and Rev. Randy Michael officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m., and Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
