Obituary

KABERLE, Jr., Harry C., following an extended illness, passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on September 10, 2011. Harry was surrounded by his loving family at home in Louisville, Kentucky. A native of New Jersey, Harry served in the Army during the Korean War, graduated from the University of Louisville's School of Business, and retired from General Electric after more than 35 years of service in management. Conversation came naturally to Harry and he formed countless lifelong friendships. Harry's family was always his first priority.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Doris Jessie Kaberle; sons, Ronald (Kim), Glenn (Mary), Ricky (Karen), and Robert (Ronda) Kaberle; grandchildren, Ashley Kruse (Chris) and Brian Kaberle, Andrea Hopkins (Billy), Jacob Kaberle, Lauren Hodges (Jerry), Chris Kaberle, Brandon Kaberle and Baylee Kaberle; great grandchildren, Savannah and Andrew Kruse; and special friend, Chris Ford.
The family wishes to thank Kathy and the wonderful staff at Hosparus of Louisville for the love and care shown to Harry during his final days.
Funeral service will be Tuesday 10:00am at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Burial will take place at 2:30pm(EST) (1:30pm CST) in Moore Cemetery, Prices Creek Road, Gradyville, KY. Visitation will be Monday noon-8pm at the funeral home.
