Eunice G. Reidy, 97, died Thursday at St. Antoine Residence. She was the widow of Thomas J. Reidy.
Born in Clinton, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Rose M. (Stone) Lamlein. She had lived in Worcester before moving to Smithfield in 1992.
She was an operator for New England Telephone for 22 years before retiring. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and Blessed Sacred Church in Worcester, MA.
She is survived by her children: Thomas J. Reidy and his wife, Florence of Moneterey, CA, Paul F. Reidy of Medina, OH and Kathleen A. Plante and her husband, John of Smithfield, her grandchildren: Matthew and Lauren Plante, Brenton and Elsie Reidy, her great grandchildren: Riley and John Denis. She was the sister of the late Everett F. and Chester G. Lamlein.
Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 10am in the Chapel at St. Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, RI 02896. Visitation Monday 9-10am. Committal service will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Antoine Residence Special Care Unit.
