Frances A "Jay" Ostertag, 89, died September 4, 2011 in Sudbury,Ma.
Born August 28th, 1922 in Natick, MA the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Cardellicchio) Leone, Mrs. Ostertag grew up in Natick and was the last surviving sibling of 8 brothers and sisters. She married Herbert L Ostertag and settled in Worcester where she had 2 children. She also lived for a number of years in Florida and in Vermont in the 1960's where the family owned and operated a dairy farm in Fairfax. She moved back to Massachusetts .
Lovingly Survived by her son Donald Ostertag of Belmont, Ma, her Daughter Judy Ostertag Barnard and son-in-law Peter Barnard of Ashland, Ma, 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Frances was a very outgoing, generous and kind person. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Visiting hours Friday, September 9 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
