Keleher, Margaret A. "Peg" of Quincy, passed away September 4, 2011. Beloved wife of John "Jack" Keleher of Quincy. Loving mother of Kathleen R. Keleher of Roslindale, Lauren E. Leydon of Lakeville, Paul F. Keleher and his wife Chantal of Scituate. and the late John E. Keleher Jr. Sister of John Scribner III of Huntington. Cherished grandmother of Erin Leydon of Lakeville and William Keleher of Scituate. Peg is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Peg was a lifelong resident of Quincy. She was a graduate of Quincy High School. Peg most recently worked for Hewlett Packard in Hingham. She was the past president of The Greater Boston Council of NAIC. In her earlier years Peg was a Girl Scout Leader. Peg was an avid reader who could often be found at the Library. She enjoyed camping, gardening and knitting. Most of all Peg loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery at a later date.
