Ryan, Peter F. of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy died on Friday, September 2, 2011 surrounded by the family he cherished. The beloved husband of 50 years to Karen (Welch) Ryan of Weymouth. Loving father of Lisa Ryan of Pembroke, Peter F. Ryan, Jr. of Quincy, Kelly Ryan of Weymouth and Tami Ryan of Quincy. Cherished Pa of Peter Ryan, Samantha Ryan, Ashley Ryan, Matthew Adams, Hannah Adams, Krystyna Ryan, Ava Adams and Kole Ryan. Great Grandfather of Kaylie Sullivan. Brother of Kathleen Lallis of Weymouth, Thomas Ryan of Foxboro, William Ryan of Quincy and the late Mary McCarthy, Joanne Lightbody and Frankie Ryan.
Peter was born in Boston and grew up in Dorchester. He was the owner and operator of Ryan De-Leading in Quincy for many years. He enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife Karen. The focus of his life was his family. He adored his grandchildren. Peter will be remembered as a generous man with a big heart. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone. He will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.
Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
