In Fall River, September 3, 2011 Catherine (Murphy) Vincola, age 91 passed away in the Adams House in Fall River following a period of failing health. Catherine was the wife of the late Edward Vincola. She was born in Brookline, Ma. to her late parents Thomas & Bessie (Collins) Murphy. Catherine was a resident of Berkley and was formerly of Needham and Marstons Mills. She enjoyed cooking and cherished her time with her family. Catherine is survived by her daughter Kathleen Dougherty of Berkley. Her grandchildren; Patricia, Edward, Eleanor and Laura Dougherty, and her five great grandchildren; Kallie, Keltey and Keira Fournier, Sadie Dougherty and Amelia McNulty. Catherine was the sister of the late Mary Murphy and Thomas Murphy and cousins of the late Mary Keily, Helen Keily and Corneilius Kiley. A funeral home service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 7th at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours prior to the service from 9:30-11am in the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma. 02780.
