Eugene Thomas Tolley, III, age 50, of 109 Wildhurst Lane, Danville, died Thursday, September 1, 2011 in the Danville Regional Medical Center. He had been a patient at Piney Forest Health Care for the past year.
Born June 7, 1961 in Danville, he was the son of the late Eugene Thomas Tolley, II and Frances Shorter Tolley, who survives. He was a veteran of the US Navy and attended Hampton Sydney College. Mr. Tolley was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a special aunt, Beulah Webb of Danville, and a half-sister, Brenda Jones, also of Danville.
Funeral services officiated by Rev. Richard J. Markham will be held Sunday, September 4, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Swicegood Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following in Danville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the residence, 109 Wildhurst Lane, Danville.
