Emily Claire Jones, age 56, a resident of Holiday Village, died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in Danville Regional Medical Center after a decline in health for the past several years.
Born March 23, 1955 in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Herman Gold Jones and Nancy Yates Jones. She lived her entire life in Danville and worked for ARA Food Service for Danville Regional Medical Center before becoming disabled.
She is survived by her sister, Pamela R. Bandy of Danville, and by her caregiver, Barbara Warren, also of Danville.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. in Danville Memorial Gardens.
