Born February 10, 1925 to Carmen and Alden Sr. in St. Paul Minnesota. Passed away on August 28, 2011 after a brief illness. Husband, father, grandfather and friend. Attended Johnson High School in St. Paul and served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II. Preceded in death by wife Patricia (Hamm), who he married in 1948; son Timothy; and daughter-in-law Anne. Survived by sons Brian, Kevin (Pam), Terry (Molly), Chris (Karen) and Dennis; daughter-in-law Carol; adored grandchildren Katie, Bob, Jennifer, Jessica, Adam, Hugh and Tess. Loved to play chess and paint. He will be missed by his family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday (9/2) 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-8 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, and one hour prior to Mass at church.
