Ana (De Melo) Vieira, age 91 of Fall River passed away August 30, 2011. She was widow of Joao Vieira and daughter of the late Diniz and Inez (Correia) De Melo. Born in São Braz, São Miguel, Açores, she resided in Fall River since 1960. She was a retired sewing machine operator having worked at Chesterfield Dress Co and she was a member of St. Michael Parish.
Ana was mother of the late Mary Bonanca and sister of Domingos De Melo of Fall River, the late Maria Correia and the late Jose and Mariano De Melo. She was grandmother of Christopher and Tiffany Bonanca, great grandmother of 4 and aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River FRIDAY at 9:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no Thursday calling hours
