Diane M. Wyshak, age 66
Cancer and Stem Cell Research Advocate
TEWKSBURY: Diane M. (Gregorio) Wyshak, age 66, a resident of Tewksbury for 35 years, formerly of Wakefield, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, with her family by her side, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.
She was the beloved wife of Michael F. Wyshak.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware on April 14, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Carmen A. and Violet (Buonarosa) Gregorio.
Diane was raised in Wakefield, attended Wakefield schools and graduated from Wakefield High School.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Internal Revenue Service. Diane previously worked for Prudential Life Insurance Company and Saints Medical Center.
Diane was tireless in her efforts to promote and provide information on Cancer and Stem Cell Research to physicians, politicians and research facilities.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her children, Michael C. Wyshak of Brooklyn, NY, Susan D. Greene of Hollis, NH and Kori M. Sahin of Pacific Palisades, CA; five grandchildren, Taylor, Olivia, Keaton, Kate Helen and Kolby.
Calling hours will be Friday, Sept. 2, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 198 Haggetts Pond Road, Andover, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at the church. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. At the request of the family kindly Omit Flowers. Donations in her memory may be made to the Michael J.
