Emma Nurse a longtime resident of Teaneck, NJ died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the age of 89. Mrs. Nurse was born in Coleman, Georgia, the youngest of nine children in 1921. She was a caretaker to many children who grew up in Teaneck and Englewood. Emma was a longtime employee of the nursing staff at Bergen Regional (Bergen Pines) until illness forced her to retire at the age of 83. She leaves to morn her passing, three children, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of family and friends. All are invited to visit Thursday, 7-9 PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck, NJ.
