Mr. Luigi Agueci, age 63 of Medford, formerly of Boston’s North End and Rome, Italy died Monday in Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. He was the husband of Theresa (Bellabona) Agueci with whom he shared more than 30 years of marriage. Mr. Agueci was born and educated in Rome, son of the late Francesco and Anna Maria (Vanella) Agueci. He emigrated from Rome to the United States in 1968 and settled in Boston’s North End. He worked as a machinist for the former Mystic Plating for more than 40 years. He was a helpful man, often referred to as a gentle and kind man. He loved to work with his hands, particularly in woodworking. Family and his friends were most important to him. He enjoyed watching Italian Soccer Matches and could easily follow the Italian commentators in his native language.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son, Francesco Agueci of Medford. At his request services have been omitted. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Luigi’s name may be sent to the American Lung Association of Massachusetts, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham MA. 02451.
