In Taunton, August 29, 2011 Mary L. Pimental, age 84 passed away in Morton Hospital following a period of failing health. Mary was the wife of the late John A. Pimental. She was born in Taunton to her late parents Robert H. & Susan A. (Smith) Cole. Mary has lived her entire life in Taunton, where she attended Taunton schools and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. Mary retired from the Taunton Police Department in 1983, where she worked as a clerk. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, her work at the police station and above all cherished her family & and cat “Sammy”. Mary is survived by her daughters; Linda S. Morris of Ohio, Gwendolyn Borden of Taunton and Pamela Henshaw of Taunton. Her grandchildren; Jefferson Borden of Westport, John Perreira of Taunton, Walter Rogers of Taunton, Erica Burton & her husband Anthony of Taunton and her four great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her brothers; Donald J. and James F. Cole. Mary also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma. 02780 on Friday, Sept. 2nd at 8am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church at 9am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thurs. from 5-7pm. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
