Carmela V. (Benevento) Pinto, of Plymouth formerly of Cambridge, died on August 29th at Radius Healthcare at the age of 92. The beloved wife of the late Frank Pinto, she is survived by her children Karen Summers and her husband Frederick of Jamaica Plain, John Pinto of Plymouth and Maureen Pinto of Marshfield and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of 15 late brothers and sisters. Carmela was born in Swampscott and has lived in Plymouth for 28 years coming from Cambridge. She was a member of the Bonnie Seniors and the Red Hat Society who enjoyed cooking, music and dancing and especially spending time with her family. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday August 31st from 7 to 9 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet). A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 1st at St. Bonaventure’s Church at 10 AM followed by burial at Cambridge Cemetery in Cambridge at 1:30 PM.
