Victoria (Correira) Rosa, age 85, of Westport entered into rest Aug. 28, 2011. She was the wife of John Henry Rosa and the daughter of the late August Santos Correira & Guilhermina (Costa) Correia. Prior to retiring, Victoria worked as a C.N.A. for 14 years and had previously worked as a Seamstress for 45 years at MCO Dress Mfg. Co. & Har-Lee Mfg. Co. She was a member of the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church.
Victoria was the mother of John A. Rosa of N. Dartmouth, Jeffrey Rosa, Juanita Abrantes, & Juan James Rosa all of Westport, & Julius Rosa of Fall River. 6 grandchildren, 1 late grandson: Nathanial John Abrantes, great grandmother of: Victoria Marie Abrantes, Madison Abrantes, and 3 other great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late August Santos and James “Jimmy Santos” Correira.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on THURSDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Service in the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church, N. Main St. Fall River at 10:00 A.M.
