Helen Catherine Jensen, age 79 of Clarksville, TN, went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 29, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center.
She was born in Maryland on March 24, 1932. She attended New Providence United Methodist Church and she was a Catholic.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Jensen; two sisters and one brother.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Glenn Cook, Ashland City, TN; four daughters, Elizabeth "Betty" Catherine Scott, Clarksville, Frances Marie Chester, Indian Mound, TN, Mary Helen Woolverton, Jackson, TN and Janice Ann Gardner, Brownsville, TN; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 6 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Deacon Dominic Azzara, Rev. Greg Tyson and Rev. B.J. Brack officiating. Visitation wil begin at 3 p.m., and continue until the hour of the service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, TN, on Thursday at 1 p.m.
