Fall River – Claudette A. (Larrabee) Rusin, 64, 0f Westport passed away August 26, 2011 at St. Anne’s Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Ronald S. Rusin, Sr. to whom she was married for 47 years.
Mrs. Rusin was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Charles H. and Mildred C. (LaValle) Larrabee. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. She was employed for 37 years as a home visitor/teacher by CFC Head Start Program, Fall River. Mrs. Rusin was an avid bowler, enjoyed going to Foxwoods but most of all loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her widower, she is survived by 2 daughters: Christine A. Frank and her husband John of Fall River and Debra J. Lambert and her husband Donald of Westport; 3 sons: Ronald S. Rusin, Jr. and his wife Dawn, John P. Rusin and his wife Dawn and James C. Rusin and his wife Lori, all of Swansea; a brother: Robert J. Larrabee of Fall River; a sister-in-law: Gerry Larrabee of Swansea; several grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
She was sister of the late Charles H. Larrabee, Jr.

Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CFC Head Start Program, 264 Griffin Street, Fall River, MA 02724.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
