Frances Hogan Aultman, 92, of Ocilla, died Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Osceola Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at 2 PM at Ocilla United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Matthews and the Rev. Scott Brenton officiating. Interment will follow in Oakridge Cemetry in Tifton. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Aultman was born October 27, 1918 in Tift County to the late David H. and Mittie Lee Payne Hogan. She was a 1934 graduate of Tift County High School. She worked as the manager of Hybernia’s for 30 years. She was an active member of Ocilla United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Guild and served on the Administrative Board. She played bridge for over 60 years, was a golfer, and a member of the Ocilla County Club.
She is survived by her son, Tom W. Aultman of Tifton; sisters: Betty Matthews of Chula and Virginia Sedlick of Wildwood, MO; sister-in-law: Alma Hogan of Litiz, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Lon Warren Aultman, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
