Virginia Tiner, 85, of Greenville Avenue, Johnston, died Wednesday. She was the widow of Hugh Tiner.
Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Attillio and Marie (Scalise) Cardente. She had worked at Allendale Insurance before retiring.
She is survived by her siblings: Joseph Cardente of Johnston, Anna Fogetta and Eugene Cardente, both of North Providence.
Funeral Saturday at 9:00am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation 8:30 -9:00am.
