Augusta, GA – Entered into rest at her residence, Jones Manor Assisted Living Home, Tuesday, August 23, 2011, Mrs. Vonnie Jeannette Tinley, 80, wife of the late Mr. George D. Tinley, Jr.
Mrs. Tinley was born in Augusta, Georgia. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Tinley was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church, McBean, Georgia.
She was a loving mother to her children: daughters, Shirley Yvonne Simpson of Augusta, Patricia Anne Tinley of Augusta, sons: George Dennis Tinley of Waynesboro, GA, Craig Evans Tinley of Augusta, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Chaplain Steve Russ officiating. Burial will be private in Tinley Cemetery, McBean, GA. Pallbearers will be Joshua Tinley, Jeremy Tinley, Edward Prescott, Kenneth Prescott, David Prescott, and George Prescott. Honorary pallbearers will be her special caregivers from Jones Manor Personal care home.
Also, a special thank you to Heartland Hospice who has been a loving and caring support team to the family for the last six months.
