Mary P. Norton, 92, of Dartmouth, formerly of New Bedford, died Saturday August 20, 2011 at the Cedars Assisted Living Community.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen (Carolan) Norton, she lived in New Bedford all of her life, before moving to the Cedars.
She was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church.
Miss Norton worked for American Mutual Insurance Company for over 30 years until her retirement.
She was a graduate of Holy Family High School and Kinyon Commercial School.
Survivors include two nephews, Richard Rogers of Framingham and Bruce Rogers of California.
She was the sister of the late Francis Norton, K. John Norton, and Helen Rogers.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at St. Lawrence Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
