Marion L. (Sharp) Wynant, 84, a resident of Carver, died at Nemasket Healthcare Center in Middleboro on Wednesday, August 17. She was the wife of the late Hobart J. Wynant. Born in New Haven, CT, she was educated in Boston schools and also attended secretarial school. She was a resident of Carver for 8 years after living in Stoughton for over 50 years. Mrs. Wynant was a baker at Shaw’s Supermarket for 15 years before retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Massachusetts Catholic Women’s Guild at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton for many years.
Mrs. Wynant is survived by her children, Michael F. Wynant of Carver, Susan T. Foulsham of Stoughton, Paul A. Wynant of Webster, Mark J. Wynant of Lakeville and Kevin G. Wynant of PA, as well as her brother, Joseph A. Sharp of Wellfleet and FL. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, August 20 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Marion’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assn., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
