Sandra M. Fritschy, 69, of Derry, NH, died Tuesday August 16, 2011 in her home, peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born in Lawrence, MA on November 14, 1941, a daughter of the late Arthur and Irene (Madore) French. Mrs. Fritschy had been a resident of Derry since 1966, formerly living in Lawrence. She had been employed for Hadco Printed Circuits in Derry for 21 years. Mrs. Fritschy enjoyed bus trips with her friends, going to the coast, the mountains and trips to Foxwoods. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry.
She is survived by her husband Michael A. Fritschy of Derry; three sons, Kevin Fritschy and his wife Jurate of Londonderry, NH, Michael Fritschy and his wife Michele of Sterling, MA, and Shawn Fritschy of Rocky Hill, CT; four grandchildren; her sister, Carol Godfrey of Hampstead, NH; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Friday, August 19th from 4 - 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. Following cremation, her urn will be placed in the columbarium in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH.
