Richard Allen Allison, 39, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Sunday, February 15, 2004 in Statesville, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM, Thursday, February 19, 2004, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Gary Clements and Rev. Glenn Fussell officiating. Interment will follow in Riverbend Cemetery, Irwin County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Wednesday evening at the Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald.
Mr. Allison was born August 2, 1964, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Glenda Phillips Hulett and the late Ronald Wayne Allison. He lived in the community for the past eight years coming from Tifton and attended Riverbend Baptist Church in Irwin County. Mr. Allison was the Branch Operations Manager for Flowers Baking Company in the Tifton-Douglas district and a 1981 graduate of Fitzgerald High School.
Mr. Allison is survived by his wife: Lisa M. Purvis Allison, Ocilla; son and daughter-in-law: Jamie and Samantha Allison, Ashburn, GA; son: Brady Wayne Allison, Ocilla; daughter: Heather Marie Allison, Ocilla; mother: Glenda P. Hulett, Milan, GA; brother: Glenn Allison, Statesville, NC and sister: Tammy Allison, Abbeville.
