Memorial services to honor the life of Melody Moulton Wagner will be held Friday, August 19, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn, Ga. Ms. Wagner’s cremains will be interred beside her beloved grandfather, Sam Owen, in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Ms. Wagner died suddenly at her residence August 13, 2011.
Ms. Wagner was born April 29, 1958 in Macon, Ga., the daughter of Betty Owen Eddy and the late Edward Dean Moulton. Melody was employed by Crum and Forster, Atlanta office, as a senior underwriter.
Melody is survived by her two sons, Jeff and his wife, Angela Wright and Bill Wagner, both who served their country in the U.S. Army serving in Iraq and Afghanistan and her mother Betty Eddy of Atlanta, Ga. Also surviving is her maternal grandmother, Vera Owen, Crestview, Florida; uncles Jimmy Owen of Crestview, Florida and Clifford Moulton, Lancaster, California and an aunt Donna Choate of Palmdale, California.
The family will receive friends Friday 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
