WORCESTER – Mr. Thomas James Vigliatura “T Vig”, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday August 11th .
Tom is survived by his loving mother, Elizabeth (O’Malley) Vigliatura of Worcester with whom he resided, three sisters, Patricia A. Aboody of Worcester, Kathleen E. DiGiorgio and her husband John of Holden, Mary Ellen Stolarczyk and her husband Alan of Spencer; a brother, Michael P. Vigliatura of Worcester, a brother-in-law, Paul Aboody of Shrewsbury; and nephews, Paul M. Aboody, Blake T. Aboody, and Joseph J. DiGiorgio, and a niece, Lyndsey E. DiGiorgio; along with many cousins, aunts and uncles and close friends.
Tom was pre-deceased by his father, Mr. Donald P. Vigliatura Sr. and his brother, Donald Vigliatura Jr.
He was born September 28, 1968 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Tom was a graduate of St Peter Marion Catholic High School where he also played football.
Tom had a love for bodybuilding and competed in many competitions throughout the country, winning several competitions in the heavy weight division. He loved spending time with his family, enjoying his mother’s cooking, and his pug, Mugsey.
Tom owned and operated T Vig’s Nutrition Unlimited (still in existence) on West Boylston Street in Worcester for many years, touching the lives of many who he guided and helped to restore their health.
His funeral will take place Thursday August 18th at St Stephen’s Church, Worcester, with his Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial will take place at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There will be no calling hours.
