Wilma Page Raynor, 85, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, August 14, 2011, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Monday, August 15, 2011, in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Mike Ruffin officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Raynor was born April 7, 1926 in Reydel, Arkansas to the late William Thomas “Bill” and Pearl Grace Page. She was a retired telephone operator for GTE and a member of the First Baptist Church. She graduated from Reydel High School, was a former employee of Dixie Land 5 & 10 Store and was a member of the Captain D’s Wednesday Lunch Club.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Deborah R. & Bill Bryant of Fitzgerald, Tim & Sharron Raynor of Fitzgerald and Mike & Brenda Raynor of Lenox; seven grandchildren: Stan & Dana Bryant, Molly R. Salerno, Becky B. & Brian Scott, Alison & John Kessler, Jennifer R. & Brad Mercier, Drew & Taylor Raynor, Page R. & Nick Adams; six great-grandchildren: Zaedin Salerno, Bryant Scott, Bryson Scott, John Lewis Kessler, Allan Mercier and Wood Bryant; and a sister-in-law: Mary Raynor Gray of Waycross. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband F. S. “Boone” Raynor.
