Obituary

Kurciviez, Bradford F. of Hingham, passed away August 12, 2011.

Beloved husband of the late Marianne (Sichra) Kurciviez.

Loving father of Jacqueline Kurciviez of Hingham, Carolyn Young of Weymouth, Michael Kurciviez and his wife, Phyllis of Hull, Bradford Dean Kurciviez and his wife, Mary of Weymouth, Peter Wyman of Florida and the late Robin Karen Kurciviez. Brother of Gail, Michael, and Barry Kurciviez all of Florida. Also survived by 8 grandchildren.

Mr. Kurciviez was born and raised in Boston and had lived in Hingham since 1962. He spent many years with the MDC Police and subsequently became a Massachusetts State Police Trooper before retirement. He was a very active man and took great pleasure coaching Hingham Youth Baseball, Pop Warner Football in Hingham and Hull High School during his lifetime. An avid golfer, Mr. Kurciviez also enjoyed collecting stamps in his spare time and he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and tennis. Mr. Kurciviez served with the United States Navy aboard the USS Tarawa during the Korean conflict and was also a Reserve Special Agent in the United States Coast Guard specializing in Intelligence.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Graveside Services on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Saint Paul's Cemetery, Hersey Street, in Hingham.
