Obituary

William A. "Scotty" Tulloch, 70, of New Bedford died Saturday August 13, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Catherine W. (Roy) and Thomas A.C. Tulloch, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.

Scotty was formerly employed as a telephone worker for NYNEX for many years until his retirement.

Mr. Tulloch served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Andrews-Dahill Post 1531 and a former member of the Whaling City Golf Course. He was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational High School.

Survivors include nieces and nephews, Robert S. Tulloch and his wife Julia Ann, Laurie Tulloch, Douglas Tulloch and his wife Maria, and Cyndi Mikkelson and her husband Brian; great-nieces and great-nephews, Jennifer Lee Tulloch, Jonathan Thomas Tulloch, Jacob Tulloch, Collin Tulloch, and Catherine Mikkelson; and cousins, Diane Packett and Winnie Boudreau.

He was the brother of the late Andrew J. Tulloch and Thomas C. Tulloch.

His Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday at 1 PM at Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
