SPENCER-Stanley Olensky, 87, of Spencer died Saturday, August 13th at home. He leaves his wife of 65 years, Florence B. (Hartwick) Olensky; a daughter, Sandra A. Fisher and her husband, Dr. Barry P. Fisher of Southboro; a son, Stanley Paul Olensky of Spencer; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother and two sisters.
He was born in Worcester the son of Stanley and Victoria (Ciborowski) Olensky. Mr. Olensky was employed by Crompton and Knowles and Hahnemann Hospital until his retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. Mr. Olensky was a member of the Spencer Rescue Squad and Fire Department for many years and enjoyed fishing, railroading and traveling.
Funeral services are private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester is directing arrangements.
