Jill M. Anthony, 68

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Jill M. (Keating) Anthony, 68, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, passed away on Friday August 12, 2011 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard W. Anthony who died on February 10, 1999.
Born in Attleboro, MA on May 4, 1943, she was a loving daughter of Virginia M. (Ellis) Keating of Mansfield and the late Arthur L. Keating, Sr.
Jill grew up and was educated in Mansfield, and was a 1961 graduate of Mansfield High School. She furthered her studies and attended the Bryant and Stratton Junior College of Business in Boston.
A retired receptionist, Mrs. Anthony had been employed for 12 years at the medical offices of Dr. Paula McBrine and Dr. Carol Vasconcellos in Mansfield. She had previously worked at the LaSalette Shrine in Attleboro and at the Foxboro Co. in Foxboro.
A communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield, she also worshipped at the LaSalette Shrine in Attleboro.
Jill, along with her family enjoyed taking cruises , spending time at the beach and was also an avid reader.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her devoted daughters: Kimberly M. Anthony and Becky L. Anthony both of Mansfield and was the mother of the late Dean M. Anthony. The dear sister of Robin M. Nunes and her husband Steven of Mansfield and the late Arthur “Larry” Keating, Jr., she is also survived by her adoring nieces and nephews: Carl Nunes, Paul Nunes, Stacee Valencia, Greg Keating and Lori Rego.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Tuesday August 16th at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday August 15th from 5-8 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home,55 North Main St., Mansfield.
