Joyce Ann Trahan, 57, of New Bedford, died February 15, 2004, unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of Hilda (Gomes) Trahan of New Bedford and the late Leon A. Trahan, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was presently employed by Denmark Pharmacy and had previously worked at SouthCoast Healthcare and Community Nurse Association of Fairhaven.
Ms. Trahan was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church in New Bedford.
She enjoyed bingo at Bishop Stang, reading, puzzles and her cat.
Survivors include her mother; a sister, Theresa Vieira, and her husband Robert, of New Bedford; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was the sister of the late Katheleen Sylvia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Wednesday evening, February 18th at 8:30 PM.
Visiting hours Wednesday 6-8:30 PM, prior to the Funeral Service.
Interment private.
