Mr. Jeffry W. Tetreault, of Taunton, died Tuesday, August 9 at his residence following a brief illness. He was the husband of Lillian J. (Patneaude) Tetreault. He was born 65 years ago in Attleboro, the son of the late Alfred and Marjorie (Menard) Tetreault. He was educated in Attleboro, having graduated from Attleboro High School and was also a graduate of Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I. Mr. Tetreault had been a Taunton resident since 1969. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a salesman for Cardi’s Furniture in Swansea. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during the Vietnam Era. Jeffry was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing golf, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family, especially his six grandkids, who kept him young. He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
In addition to his wife, he leaves: 1 son: Todd J. Tetreault and his wife, Nunzia of Flemington, N.J.; 1 daughter: Janine M. Cozier and her husband, Anthony of Hyde Park, Ma.; 1 brother: Paul D. Tetreault and his wife, Patricia of Norton; 2 sisters: Marcia VanArsdale and her husband, Gary of Ohio, and Mary Ellen DeMond and her husband, Kenneth of So. Dennis; 6 grandchildren: Antoinette Cozier, Abigail Cozier, Cordiana Cozier, Nathaniel Cozier, Matthew Tetreault and Molly Tetreault, and several nieces and nephews. Jeffry was also the brother of the late Mark Tetreault and Scott Tetreault.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Friday, August 12 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
