Mrs. Kirkland was born in St. George, SC. She was a sales secretary for Roberts Motor Company.
Family members include: son, H. Lyman Kirkland III (Karen) of Martinez, GA, daughter, the late Loyce Elizabeth Jones, 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be private.
