Obituary

William Michael Tarentino age 70 of Whitman died Monday August 1, 2011 at the Signature Healthcare/Brockton Hospital after a lengthy illness. Bill was born and raised in Brockton a son of the late Dominic and Nora (Butler) Tarentino and had been a resident of Whitman since the mid 1970s.
Bill had been the proprietor of Tarentino Paving Company in Whitman. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and camping and had been a member of the Bertocci Club, Sons of Italy and Wheels of Time in Brockton.
Bill is survived by his wife Vicki La Branche of Avon, his siblings Joan Lennox and her husband Robert of Pocasset, Ralph Tarentino of West Wareham and Noreen Faradie and her husband Bill of N. Easton. He was the father of the late William M. Tarentino, Jr. and twins Michael and Mark Tarentino. Bill leaves two nieces Cynthia Sullivan of Marshfield, Leah Ardini of Hanover and four nephews Billy Faradie, III of Norton, Jason Tarentino of Middleboro, Michael J. Faradie of West Hollywood, CA and N. Easton and James Faradie of S. Easton. He also leaves two great nieces Mariah Tarentino and Ella Sullivan; aunts, uncles, many cousins, the mother of his children Betty (Chiocca) Tarentino of Bridgewater and closest friend, Dr. Roland Florio.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 8:30 to 10:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Parish at 11 am.
