METHUEN – Lorraine L. (Binette – Condon) Rano 73 of Methuen died Thursday August 4, 2011 at Holy Family Hospital.
Born in Lawrence, MA, daughter of William and Marie (Labrecque) Binette. She was a graduate of the Essex Agricultural Technical High School in Danvers. Lorraine was a nanny for many years in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and also worked at Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital in Salem, NH. She was a resident of Derry, NH for many years before moving to Methuen and was an attendant of St. Monica’s Church. She was an avid reader, loved camping with her husband and grandchildren.
The widow of Dominic J. Rano, she is survived by her children, Michael Condon and his wife Leeann of Methuen, MA, Cathleen Bergeron and her husband Thomas of Methuen, MA, Colleen Sebastian of Derry, NH, Kelly Armstrong and her husband Gayton of Methuen, MA and Martin Grogan and his wife Kathy of Merrimack, NH.
One sister Muriel O’Connell Gaffney of Hampstead, NH
Grandchildren Ronald Sebastian, Edward Poirier, Timothy Armstrong, Kala Bergeron, Corey Armstrong, Sean Sebastian, and Justin Grogan.
Great-grandchildren Lilly Rose Sebastian and Emma Grace.
Several nieces and nephews.
