BEVERLY: Norman J. Richards, 54, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, August 2, 2011.
Born in Boston on February 23, 1957, he was the son of Elizebeth M. (Manley) Richards of East Falmouth and the late Norman J. Richards. A 1975 graduate of Lexington High School, he had resided in Lexington for many years before moving to Beverly over twenty years ago.
Norman was employed as a truck driver for several local contracting companies and had also once worked as a heavy equipment operator in Wyoming for several years.
In addition to his mother, Elizabeth, he is survived by his sister, Anne M. Richards of Nashua, NH, his companion, Kim Spooner and several cousins.
His funeral service will be held on Monday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9 – 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice. Interment will be held in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
