Peggy Powell Revis, 81, of Clarksville, TN died Sunday July 31, 2011 at St. Thomas Hospital with her loving daughter by her side.
She was born November 21, 1929 in Cadiz, KY daughter of the late Carl Powell and Theresa Hanley Powell. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Carl Alton Powell and a sister, Mary Louise Collins (Joe).
Survivors include her husband, Van H. Revis; daughter , Theresa Jan Revis, son, William Hanley Revis, all of Clarksville; a sister, Linda Hams (Howard); and a brother John E. Powell, both of Clarksville; and two grandchildren, Jessica Nicole Revis, Palmyra, TN and Alexis Revis, Clarksville.
Peggy was a partner with her husband, Van F. Revis, in Red River Construction Company. She was a devout member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Alter Society.
Services will be held on Wednesday August 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Eric Fowlkes officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A Rosary service will follow visitation.
Pallbearers will be Rob Long, Joey Long, Jeff Long, Tal Powers, Pat Powers, Josh Ladd, Joe Gunn, and Steve Baird.
