Florence (Volton) Kenney 99 of Provincetown died July 28, 2011 at Seashore Point in Provincetown.
She was the wife of the late Burton Kenney who died in 1998. Mrs. Kenney was born in Provincetown and was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Noya) Volton. She graduated from Provincetown High School and was an accountant with her own business. She is survived by her daughter Joan Tremblay and her husband Alfred J. Tremblay of Stoughton. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.. She was predeceased by her two brothers Alfred and Michael Volton, and her two sisters Mary Roderick and Adeline Brown. Visiting hours are Tuesday August 2, 2011 from 4-6:00pm at the Gately – McHoul Funeral Home 94 Harry Kemp Way Provincetown. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Peter the Apostle Church, 11 Prince St. Provincetown on Wednesday at 11:00am.
