Beloved father of Deborah Alimonti and her husband James of Peabody and the late Susan "Su" Taraskiewicz and Ronald B. Taraskiewicz, Jr. Former husband of Marlene (Ryan) Taraskiewicz of Peabody. Brother of Richard Taraskiewicz of Everett, Anthony Taraskiewicz of Chelsea and the late Benjamin F. Taraskiewicz, Jr. and Francis R. Taraskiewicz. Cherished grandfather of Jacleen, Jillian and James Alimonti. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith-Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Monday, August 8th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 758 Salem Street, Lynnfield at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith-Carroll Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-6 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Born in Chelsea, attending local schools, Ronald passed away at the Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida shortly after admission. A resident of Saugus for many years, after retiring as a salesman in the trucking industry, he moved to Dunedin, Florida where he spent his latter years golfing and pursuing his interest in cars.
