Kathy F. Reese, 53, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 30 at The Church Of The Nazarene with the Rev. Dan Hayes and the Rev. James Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Reese was born August 15, 1957 in Elizabethton, TN to Rev. Charles and Louise Daughtery Fountain. She lived in Fitzgerald for the past forty years, graduating from Fitzgerald High School in 1975. She received her RN degree from South Georgia College in 1978. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the VA Hospital in Lake City, FL, the Intensive Care Unit at Dorminy Medical Center, Public Health Home Health and CareOne. Kathy was a member and former Sunday school teacher at The Church of The Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband: Bobby J. Reese of Fitzgerald; sons and daughter-in-law: Rodney Reese of Greer, SC and Dr. Paul & Jane Ellen Reese of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Collin Reese and Carley Reese; parents: Rev. Charles and Louise D. Fountain of Fort Oglethorpe; brothers and sisters-in-law: Chuck & Marsha Fountain of Greenville, SC and Dr. Steve & Tasha Fountain of Augusta as well as several nieces and nephews.
