Jewette B. Jinright, 74, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Thursday, February 12, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 14, 2004, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Ocilla, Georgia with Rev. Royce Hulett officiating. Interment will follow in Blockhouse Cemetery, Telfair County. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 Friday evening at Paulk Funeral Home, Ocilla, Georgia.
Mrs. Jinright was born October 9, 1929 in Telfair County, Georgia to the late Bill and Lucy Williams Bohannon. She moved to Irwin County from Telfair County in 1945. Mrs. Jinright was a homemaker who kept children in her home. She was the director of the Ocilla Baptist Church nursery for many years. Mrs. Jinright was a member of Blockhouse Baptist Church.
Mrs. Jinright is survived by two sons: Ted Jinright and Billy Jinright, both of Ocilla; two daughters: Patsy Gladden and Connie Mixon, both of Fitzgerald; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; one brother: Ive Bohannon, Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Jinright and one sister, Wylene Bohannon.
