FALL RIVER … Christine M. (Mello) Furtado, 45, of Fall River died at home Tuesday, July 26, 2011.
She was the wife of Michael Furtado.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of Manuel and Maria (Carmo) Mello and had been a lifelong resident of the city.
She was employed as a contract’s manager for Navix Diagnostic.
She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Church, Fall River and a member of Christ the Rock Church, Fall River.
Mrs. Furtado enjoyed dancing, singing, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband and parents, a daughter Ashley N. Furtado of Fall River, a brother Richard Mello of Fall River, and a nephew.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 8AM from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9AM at St. Stanislaus Church, Rockland Street, Fall River, MA. Calling hours will be Thursday 5 – 8 PM. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
