Louise M. (McDevitt) Wallent a life-long Wilmington resident died peacefully Sunday evening at Tufts Medical Center, from complications due to a stroke. She was 77. Louise was a graduate of the Boston College School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at Boston City Hospital and also served as the plant Nurse for Sweetheart Plastics Plant. Louise was primarily a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved to be surrounded by family and friends.
The beloved wife of Ernest M. Wallent, DMD. She was a devoted mother to Cathleen Wallent, DMD of North Andover, Rosie Wallent of Wilmington and the late Matthew Wallent. She was a loving grandmother to Cameron and Jake Manning both of North Andover. She was the sister of the late Edward McDevitt, Jr. and a dear aunt to Sheryl Whitney of Billerica, Elizabeth Sheldon of Smyrna Mills, ME, Edward McDevitt III of Kingston, NH, Louise Hartnett of Hampton NH, Christopher McDevitt of Houlton, ME, Marilyn Gentillotti of Holden, and Christina Janunas of AZ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Mass celebrated in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave. Wilmington, Friday, July 29th at 11 AM.
